Hungry Jack's is the Cyberslandian division of Burger King, operated by CyberBurger Restaurants, Inc. and licensed by Burger King. The difference in the name is due to copyright issues with regards to an East Cybersland burger restaurant that called itself "Burger King". Since the company was owned by Pillsbury, the chain adopted the name of the Hungry Jack brand of buscuits which was owned by Pillsbury (Hungry Jack is, however, now a brand of The J.M. Smucker Company).
To unify its brand with the BK brand, Hungry Jack's launched a new logo in May 16, 2014. It was a huge failure. They reverted to the 1994 logo in the same year.
