Darkwing Duck (Welsh version)

Darkwing Duck was first shown in Wales with subtitles by S4C. At the same time, Ffarquhar Radio'r-Teledu commissioned a dub that resulted in Buena Vista International, Inc. contracting Recordiau Sain Cyf to dub all 3 seasons over 16 months. In reponse, S4C canned the subtitled version and picked up the dub by FRT. The Cyan Republic's TDCY II also picked it up. The show was seen on FRT's Rhyfeddol (English: Awesome) block, in the Cyan Republic by TDCY II, and in Wales during S4C's children's programs. It now shows on FRT's Rhyfeddol channel, and on weekday evenings on FRT.
